3PAR Launches Utility Storage into the U.K.

Leading provider of Utility Storage also announces U.K. channel strategy

FREMONT, CA, US — November 4, 2003

3PAR, the leading provider of Utility Storage, announced today the introduction of its InServ Storage Servers into the United Kingdom. The company also announced that it has opened a London office, signed two U.K.-based IT solutions providers — CSF and Source Consulting — and hired Paul Liggett as the sales director to oversee 3PAR's U.K. business. 3PAR's success in the U.S. and Japanese markets, which includes 12 Fortune 1000 and Global 1000 customers, positions the company well for its U.K. expansion.

3PAR has signed distribution agreements with two companies that have substantial storage expertise and rich customer portfolios: CSF, a leading supplier of enterprise information technology solutions, and Source Consulting, a specialist in IT data storage integration. Through these new alliances, 3PAR will distribute its industry-leading Utility Storage products throughout the U.K.

In Paul's last assignment, he grew the HP enterprise storage business at CSF. As 3PAR's Sales Director in the U.K., Paul will drive channel and end-user awareness and partner with Source and CSF in their sales process.
